Pastor Jesse Johnson

He entered full time ministry in 1997, and has served the Lord in several capacities including Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Principal of a Christian school, church planting, Bible college faculty, and now Pastor of Bible Baptist Church.

Pastor Johnson received his training at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College where he earned a Bachelor's Degree of Theology, and at West Coast Baptist College where he earned a Master's Degree of Religious Education in Biblical Studies.

God has blessed Pastor Johnson with a lovely wife. He and Candace were married in 1996, and God has given them 5 wonderful children. They all greatly enjoy serving the Lord together.

Pastor Johnson's passion is reaching the lost with the gospel. His vision is to give everyone in Woodward and the surrounding areas an opportunity to hear the gospel and receive Jesus as their Savior. He takes seriously our responsibility to get the gospel throughout the whole world and is leading the church in a growing missions program. Pastor Johnson is also passionate about equipping believers for the work of the Lord, so he labors in the Word of God preparing relevant messages that educate and prepare the believer to live for God. He believes that the Lord's return is imminent so He tries to make every day count for Christ and challenges the members of Bible Baptist Church to do the same.
